About
Hello! I'm Elizabeth Corbett.
I'm a freelance choreographer, teaching artist, and performer in the field of dance based in Upstate NY, Memphis, TN, and Paris, France. I'm also part of TINATa Dance Collective. We will be in residency in France for our newest work this Fall. I received my Dance MFA through Hollins University after performing with the Milwaukee Ballet and the Joffrey Ballet for a few seasons. Much of my career was spent with Forsythe's Ballett Frankfurt and as head of the dance department at P.A.R.T.S. Brussels. I have been teaching and choreographing internationally since 1990. Currently, I am part of the Hollins Dance MFA summer teaching faculty, guest choreographer for New Ballet Ensemble Company and School (NBE), and a part of the board of directors for the new NBE public school of the arts initiative MEMArtsTech.
